1. The Matric Results Release Date

Release Date: Matric results were originally going to be released on the 19th January but this has been moved forward to the 13th of January 2025
Announcement: The Minister of Basic Education will announce the national results on the evening of the 13th January. She will also have some of the top achievers with her at the official ceremony. Individual results for learners will be released the next day.

Only your Exam Number is listed, so ensure you have it handy to check against the list. The published matric results will not show your ID number.
The newspaper will show if you have passed the matric exams with a bachelors pass or a higher certificate matric pass. The results in the newspaper do not show what your marks are for individual matric subjects.
