NSFAS Allowance Payment Plan
Recognising the annual challenges associated with registration, NSFAS has deployed servicing administrators to institutions for the past two weeks to assist students.
Our aim is to alleviate tensions and foster a harmonious academic environment across all institutions.
This intervention aims to facilitate seamless interaction between NSFAS and its beneficiaries, necessitating increased financial resources, upgraded information technologies, and skilled personnel.
These necessary system changes will enhance NSFAS's ability to efficiently handle a large volume of student applications, process them promptly, and provide timely feedback to all applicants.
Since its inception in 1991 with R21.4 million in funding, NSFAS has seen its funding increase to nearly R50 billion, demonstrating its commitment to expanding access to post-school education and training.
