How to Cancel Your SASSA R350 Grant Application

If you have submitted a SRD SASSA application and you want to cancel it, that is possible. Here's how to cancel your SASSA application.

How To Cancel Your SASSA R350 Grant Application

1. Go to the SASSA SRD website
2. Scroll down to the 'Cancel my Application' tab
3. Click on the yellow bar which says 'click here to cancel online'
4. Fill in the required fields
5. Follow the prompts

If you no longer need the SASSA R350 grant, SASSA will stop SRD grant payments. It is important to inform SASSA of any change in circumstance if you are receiving grants. 

The COVID-19 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) Grant, was announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa of R350 per month to be paid to unemployed individuals or those who do not earn an income, social grant or UIF payment.
