Msunduzi Municipality Bursary

Bursaries are available from Msunduzi for students who want to study a range of different diplomas or degrees at any college or university in SA.

Applications for External Bursaries offered by Msunduzi Municipality are expected from candidates who are studying or have been accepted by an institution of higher learning to study towards the following qualifications:

Treasury Bursary Scheme

The Western Cape Provincial Treasury is committed to creating opportunities for the youth and to address critical skills shortages in the fields of

  • Economics,
  • Accounting,
  • Finance and Auditing.

In 2008 we launched a bursary programme to provide our youth with the opportunity to access tertiary education through bursaries.

Bursary applications open in July and close by the end of September every year.

Bill Venter Academy Bursary

The Bill Venter Academy Bursary Scheme is therefore highly competitive in nature. It is a talent-based scheme aimed at attracting and retaining exceptional individuals.

Preference is given to candidates with a remarkable academic record and those individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds who meet our minimum requirements.

BRAZIL: Bachelor's and Postgraduate Scholarships

The Exchange Program for Undergraduate Students (PEC-G), officially created in 1965 by Decree 55,613 and currently ruled by Decree 7,948/2013, provides students from developing countries with which Brazil maintains educational, cultural or scientific and technological agreements the opportunity to pursue their undergraduate studies in Brazilian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

JP Morgan Bursary 2020

JP Morgan supports socio-economic development through education, skills development and training at tertiary institutions.

In conjunction with StudyTrust’s extensive experience and expertise in the administration and management of bursary and student support programmes, JP Morgan offers full cost bursaries for young South Africans wishing to pursue degree programmes in:

Trainee 18.2 Bursars

Sibanye-Stillwater awards a limited number of bursaries each year to selected candidates to study for a bachelor’s degree at a South African university.

The intention of the scheme is to provide Sibanye-Stillwater with high-calibre graduates who wish to make their career in one of its companies.

Our programmes provide entrepreneurs with all the skills, knowledge, tools and support they need to build a profitable and sustainable business in South Africa.

The programme aims to equip you with a variety of entrepreneurship, business, managerial skills and strategy to help you START and GROW your own business.

Russian Government Scholarship for South Africans 2019

The Russian Government offers annual scholarships for South Africans to study at Russian institutions. The scholarship is offered for Bachelor's, Masters and PhD degrees. Most programmes are taught in the Russian language.

Scholarship recipients are required to undertake a preparatory course related to their field of study (including language training) for one year before pursuing their degree studies.

Only after passing the examinations of the college preparatory course can they start their degree studies.

Latest Bursaries

The Sage External Bursary is aimed at funding undergraduate students. Applicants must be studying at a public university in South Africa.

The purpose of the Amazon bursary aims to develop a talent pipeline for Amazon (AWS) in South Africa. Bursaries are awarded to students in fields relevant to the technology sector.

Interested in studying IT? The Institute of Information Technology Professionals South Africa (IITPSA) is inviting applicants to apply for a bursary. 

The bursary will provide financial support to full time students enabling them to complete their education and pursue a career which will help to grow the IT industry and the South African economy.

The Citrus Academy bursary is open to any person studying at a registered tertiary education institution. Students must be studying in a field related to citrus production or research.

The Western Cape Provincial Treasury launched this bursary programme in 2008. Through the programme, youth will have the opportunity to access tertiary education.
