Sindiswa Carol ‘Tu’ Nhlumayo Merit Bursary Scheme

The SINDISWA CAROL ‘TU’ NHLUMAYO MERIT BURSARY will provide an opportunity for young women from previously disadvantaged, designated groups to pursue a career in maritime related fields.

Beneficiaries will also have the opportunity to participate in organised bodies such as Women in Maritime Africa (WIMA) and other bodies for women in science. SAIMI will foster partnerships with organisations that support women in maritime to empower and facilitate networks to support beneficiaries.

Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme In Hungary

Thousands of students from all around the world apply for higher educational studies in Hungary each year.

The number of Stipendium Hungaricum applicants is continuously increasing as well as the number of available scholarship places. In the 2018/2019 round of applications more than 4100 scholarships were awarded.

In the academic year 2019/20 more than 5000 students can begin their studies in Hungary in the framework of the Stipendium Hungaricum Programme.

AJ Foundation 2019 Bursary

he AJ Foundation bursary is open to any field of study, at a registered South African Institute, within the Western Cape.

Applications for the 2019 academic year will open in September 2018.

We are proud to announce that, for the first time, the foundation awarded a bursary, totaled at R40 000, to a deserving student in 2018.

With the help of an external sponsor, we managed to award another bursary that will cover the tuition fees of a second student.

We wish to continue in this manner, on an annual basis. 

ASSET Bursary

Bursaries are variable and cover a percentage of the cost of tuition together with an annual book allowance.

Bursars are able to access loans to cover the shortfall and any other costs e.g. hostel accommodation through our partnership with the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).
