University Of Cape Town Mastercard Foundation Scholarship

The program targets academically qualified undergraduate and postgraduate candidates who are economically disadvantaged young people with leadership potential from sub-Saharan Africa.

The program will provide scholarships to academically talented young Africans to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies at UCT.

Students enrolled on the Program will receive mentoring, leadership development, academic and life skills support. Academic support will include tutoring, language training, writing circles and guidance counselling.

Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships in the South Pacific

  • 1 scholarship is available in the South Pacific, starting in January 2020

The University of the South Pacific (USP) is hosting 1 general award eligible in Fiji, Samoa or Vanuatu – all Master's courses are available/eligible for this award.

Italian Government Grants for Foreign Citizens and Italian Citizens Living Abroad

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) is offering grants for South Africans citizens and Italian citizens resident in South Africa to study pursue training or research programs at public and recognized Italian higher education institutions for the academic year 2019-2020.

Project Funding

The National Arts Council hereby invites applications for arts projects. Individual artists and organisations active in the disciplines of theatre, dance, music, visual arts, craft and literature are invited to submit their applications for project funding.

Individuals and registered arts organisations can apply for funding within the following programmes:

SACTWU's Bursary Trust Opportunity

ACTWU manages South Africa 's biggest trade union bursary fund. The scheme offers members and their dependents financial support to study at universities, technikons and certain other higher education institutions. The fund was started in 1975 with a small solidarity contribution by trade union members to help support each other to meet the education expenditure of their children.
 

BRAZIL: Bachelor's and Postgraduate Scholarships

The Exchange Program for Undergraduate Students (PEC-G), officially created in 1965 by Decree 55,613 and currently ruled by Decree 7,948/2013, provides students from developing countries with which Brazil maintains educational, cultural or scientific and technological agreements the opportunity to pursue their undergraduate studies in Brazilian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
