The Harvard South Africa Fellowship Program (HSAFP) was established in 1979, for mid-career professionals who were previously disadvantaged by apartheid laws.
The Fellowship Program has awarded more than 200 fellowships since its establishment, and it is open to South Africans of any race and ethnicity.
In order to be selected, fellows must be in the age range of 30-45 years and show significant skill in their chosen field. The fellowship is offered to recipients for a year of study at Harvard's schools or Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
The Department of Health is promoting careers in Health Sciences and is offering provincial bursaries to qualifying students in various fields.
Fields include Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Oral Hygiene, Dietetics, Radiography (Ultrasound), Medicine, Psychology (clinical), Emergency Medical Care, Medical Orthotics and Prosthetics, Health Promotion Radiography (Diagnostic and Ultrasound), Audiology.
You must return the FULLY COMPLETED form to the same Hospital you collected it from.
The South African Medical Association bursary is intended to support South African citizens in South Africa attend medical school in South Africa. The Bursary is to the value of R20 000 per annum and is intended to assist needy medical students who have good academic records.
All students are requested to submit certified proof of financial circumstances before bursaries are awarded.
The Department of Health invites Mpumalanga Province citizens between the ages of 18 and 36 to apply ONLINE to study towards the three year Diploma in Nursing Starting from the year 2020 at the Mpumalanga College of Nursing.
Priority sectors include:
- Gender Studies
- Human Rights
- Public Policy (especially Infrastructure and Economic policy as well as Trade Policy)
- Security Studies
The Hungarian Government is offering 100 scholarships to South African students to study at participating public university in Hungary. All courses available for South Africans are taught in English, however all Bachelor's and Master's students will be required to pass a course in Hungarian as a foreign language.
