Transport Education Training Authority (TETA) Bursary 2021
The Transport Education Training Authority (TETA) awards bursaries every year. Students pursuing their studies in fields aligned to critical and scarce skills will be considered.
This set of scare skills are identified in the transport sector skills plan.
Closing date: 2 August 2021
- Currently in Grade 12 or have completed matric intending to study any of the qualifications listed below in 2022
- Currently registered students at Institutions of Higher Learning (including TVET colleges) and require funding for the 2022 academic year
- Aviation students with valid PPL/CPL
- Commercial Divers with matric (Senior Certificate). Applications must be to accredited aviation schools, accredited diving schools and registered TVETs and HEIs.

The Portuguese National Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) is offering a scholarship for PhD graduates. This scholarship will be awarded in collaboration with the Atlantic International Research Centre (AIR Centre).

You have the chance to study in Ireland! The Kader Asmal Fellowship Programme is aimed at offering fully-funded scholarship opportunities to South African students. Selected students will be chosen to study at Master’s level in Ireland’s Higher Education Institutions.

Matric learners are invitied to take part in the The University of Free State star of stars competition.
Learners who are top academic achievers and residing in the Free State province will be considered. Applicants must have applied to study at the UFS before the closing date in order to enter the Star of Stars competition.
