- South African Citizen who is a resident of the beneficiary community
- <35 years old
- Average pass mark of 65%
- In financial need to fund under/postgraduate study
- People living with disabilities will get preference

How to Apply:
- Download a copy of the application form (below)
- Complete the form and attach all supporting documents and submit to the Bursary Office through various channels.
What to submit:
- A Completed SIOC-cdt Bursary Application form
- A certified copy of latest matric results including mid-year Grade 12 results, or latest university/college academic results where application is for funding 2nd year onwards
- Proof of acceptance at a public recognised Higher Education Institution (University or TVET/FET College)
- A one-page cover letter to motivate your case for financial need
- A certified copy of you South African ID
- Proof of residence
- Proof of income of parent(s) or guardian or affidavit where there is no income
- Relevant medical note in the case of a disability
