Capsicum Bursary 2021

Bursary Details: 

Capsicum is hosting a Chef Talent Scout Competition where you can and stand the chance to win your share of bursaries to the value of R740 000. Capsicum is a culinary school with campuses in Boksburg, Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Pretoria and Rosebank. 

The bursary will go towards studying one of Capsicum's internationally-recognised courses in 2021!

Candidate Requirements: 

  • The recipient must be a South African citizen.´╗┐
  • Over the age of 17 (who will be 18 in the year of study) and older
  • Must have completed Matric
  • The recipient cannot currently work as a professional chef and cannot have ever worked as a professional chef.
  • The recipient of the bursary must be able to study in 2021. The bursary will not be carried over to the following year.


Bursary Inclusion: 

  • The bursary is for study only and excludes transport and accommodation.

Latest Bursaries

Students awarded a bursary by SUBTROP will be required to work for SUBTROP for a period of one year for each year that the bursary is awarded, provided that a position is available.

This bursary is awarded to a first year student who has excelled in sport during his/her time at high school. The main focus is on his/her matric year.
