Electrum Bursary 2021

Bursary Details

Electrum has 3 different computer science and computer engineering bursary programmes.

The bursaries are:

  • The AAA Electrum Academic Bursary
  • All About Awesome Women in Tech Bursary
  • The Electrum Foundation Bursary.

Candidate Requirements

AAA Electrum Academic Bursary

  • Students of Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields:
    • in 2nd or final year undergraduate or honours year
    • at UCT or Stellenbosch
  • Students with 65% minimum for all Computer Science modules
  • Students who maintain a 65% average, and no failed subjects

All About Awesome Women in Tech Bursary

  • Female students in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields:
    • in 2nd or final year undergraduate, or honours year
    • at UCT or Stellenbosch
  • Students with 65% minimum for all Computer Science modules
  • Women from previously disadvantaged backgrounds are encouraged to apply

Electrum Foundation Bursary

Students of Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields:

  • who do not have financial means for studies
  • in 2nd or 3rd year undergraduate or honours year
  • at UWC, CPUT, UNISA, UCT or Stellenbosch

How to Apply

Send an up-to-date CV and university transcripts to careers@electrum.co.za. You will then be contacted to attend a 2-hour technical interview
