Are you studying towards a career options within GWK or scarce skills, such as:

  • Agricultural Economists
  • Agriculturists
  • Buyers
  • Grain Procurers
  • Programmers
  • Safex traders

The Ben Scholtz bursary fund offers students the opportunity to obtain a qualification in careers available within the GWK Group.

This fund can be used for registration, class and book fees.

Candidates who obtain their qualifications will be considered for vacant positions in GWK.

If a vacancy is not available, the bursary will be converted into a loan to be paid back to the Group.

Candidate Requirements: 

  • South African citizen
  • Completed Matric
  • Good academic record
  • Studying or intend on studying in one of the aforementioned fields of study
  • Studying or intend on studying at a recognised tertiary institution in SA

Interested in studying IT? The Institute of Information Technology Professionals South Africa (IITPSA) is inviting applicants to apply for a bursary. 

The bursary will provide financial support to full time students enabling them to complete their education and pursue a career which will help to grow the IT industry and the South African economy.

The Citrus Academy bursary is open to any person studying at a registered tertiary education institution. Students must be studying in a field related to citrus production or research.

The Western Cape Provincial Treasury launched this bursary programme in 2008. Through the programme, youth will have the opportunity to access tertiary education.
