Field of Study:
Kantey & Templer awards bursaries for study at tertiary institutions in South Africa.
The Kantey & Templer Bursary and Educational Assistance Scheme has been created to provide financial assistance for the study of civil, mechanical and electrical engineering at tertiary level for persons who, through proven academic performance and personal circumstances, are considered deserving of support.
Applications from previously disadvantaged individuals are encouraged.
Conditions of Bursary:
Successful applicants will be required to be available to work at an office of Kantey & Templer for a period of at least twelve months for each year a bursary had been awarded. Such period of employment would normally be after successful completion of the degree or diploma.
The value of any approved bursary will be decided upon based on the merits of the application and on the costs of the course of study to be followed. It would normally include the full amount of academic fees as well as an allowance towards the cost of books or other study materials. Only in exceptional cases would the value include an accommodation allowance.
