Shoprite Retail Business Management Bursary
Shoprite is offering 60 bursaries to students studying towards a Diploma in Retail Business Management.
The Bursary aims at attracting and funding future Trainee Retail Managers who want to follow the exciting management career in the largest retailer in Africa. The Shoprite bursary is a stepping stone into our company and guarantees you a career with the group upon the successful completion of your course.
As a Graduate, you will be joining the largest distributor of grocery products in Africa. Registered university students with a 60% aggregate or higher are encouraged to apply.
This bursary will only be offered to second and third year Retail Business Management students.

Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:
- Diploma in Retail Business Management
- 60%+ Aggregate
- 2nd & 3rd academic year
- South African citizen
- 27 years old and younger
Flywire aims to award a total of seven scholarships of $5,000 USD each. These scholarships will be awarded across different themes.
These are the themes:
- Social justice
- Global citizenship
- Global health

Jakes Gerwel Fellowship is a full university scholarship that provides extensive mentoring and leadership development for graduate students with a passion for teaching and education.
The Old Mutual Education Trust (OMET) applications are open to all participating union members and their dependents. The funding from this scholarship will allow for the pursuit of any tertiary qualification at one of South Africa’s public higher education institutions.
The Oppenheimer Memorial Trust (OMT) awards a limited number of scholarships annually. These scholarships are for postgraduate study at public Higher Education Institutions in South Africa at Master’s, Doctoral and Postdoctoral level.
