TCTA is offering six (6) bursary opportunities to academically deserving youth from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.

We are offering opportunities to applicants who are already studying or planning to study their undergraduate at South African higher learning Institutions.

The following fields of study are considered for funding:

BURSARY OPPORTUNITIES

  • B Com Economics (Financial Management/Treasury & Investment, Commercial or any related numerate Degree (x1)
  • BSc or BEng in Civil/ Electrical (Controls & Instrumentation)/Mechanical/ Chemical (x4)
  • BSc in Environmental Science/Environmental Management, Environmental Law (x1)

How to Apply: 

The bursary scheme covers the full payment of registration, accommodation, meals, prescribed books and a monthly stipend, within the TCTA criteria.

Only short-listed applicants will be contacted for verification and interviews.

Should you not hear from TCTA 30 days after the closing date consider your application unsuccessful.

Latest Bursaries

The Sage External Bursary is aimed at funding undergraduate students. Applicants must be studying at a public university in South Africa.

The purpose of the Amazon bursary aims to develop a talent pipeline for Amazon (AWS) in South Africa. Bursaries are awarded to students in fields relevant to the technology sector.

Interested in studying IT? The Institute of Information Technology Professionals South Africa (IITPSA) is inviting applicants to apply for a bursary. 

The bursary will provide financial support to full time students enabling them to complete their education and pursue a career which will help to grow the IT industry and the South African economy.

The Citrus Academy bursary is open to any person studying at a registered tertiary education institution. Students must be studying in a field related to citrus production or research.

The Western Cape Provincial Treasury launched this bursary programme in 2008. Through the programme, youth will have the opportunity to access tertiary education.
