NSFAS offices are currently closed during lockdown. This would then lead you to wonder what to do to have your questions answered. Well, they have opened up other channels for you to get into contact with them. Read further to find out how to contact NSFAS during lockdown.
NSFAS has opened up a Contact Centre which is available to you from Monday to Friday between 08:30 and 17:00. This can be reached through
- Email: [email protected]
- Facebook: National Student Financial Aid Scheme
- Twitter: myNSFAS
- Instagram: myNSFAS
For assistance with NSFAS, you can also head to National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) centres across South Africa. NSFAS has entered into partnership with the NYDA to use their centres to assist applicants who have not yet applied, especially those who do not have internet access and those in rural areas.
The centres will be open every Monday to Friday during office hours.
Students who receive their NSFAS allowances through NSFAS Wallet can access NSFAS Chat for a safe, speedy and proactive way to reset their NSFAS Wallet accounts by logging into their MyNSFAS accounts. Click here to read more on NSFAS Chat.
