How to Apply for NSFAS
- Visit myNSFAS, using the NSFAS website, and create a myNSFAS account.
- Click "Apply" and complete the online application form.
- Upload all required supporting documents (ID, proof of income, academic results, etc.).
- Submit your application and wait for a response.
Required Documents for NSFAS Application
- ID or birth certificate.
- ID copies of parents/guardians/spouses (if applicable).
- Proof of income for all household members.
- Completed consent form.
- Latest academic results.
- Proof of home address.
- Disability certificate (if applicable).
After you apply, NSFAS will verify your eligibility based on submitted documents. SASSA grant recipients may receive immediate funding decisions.
You'll be notified if you're approved, require additional documents, or are declined. NSFAS Appeals are available for unsuccessful applicants.
