Grade 12 Learners (SA Citizens) with outstanding achievements, with a minimum APS score of 5 in English, Mathematics and Physical Science and students currently studying towards B.Sc Information Communication Technology are encouraged to apply for one of our comprehensive bursaries in the following disciplines:
SPEBS is a bursary scheme that was initiated in 1992 by the South African Institute of Civil Engineering Technicians and Technologists (SAICET). The abbreviation is short for “SAICET Patrons’ Engineering Bursary Scheme”.
When SAICET subsequently merged with the South African Institution of Civil Engineering (SAICE) it was decided that SPEBS would be retained. SPEBS currently forms an integral part of the SAICE outreach programmes.
NMISA is offering an undergraduate bursary at a recognised South African University.
Upon completion, the bursar will be required to work one year for every year of study sponsored by NMISA.
Successful graduates will follow an exciting career at NMISA in the Science of Accurate Measurement (Metrology).
NMISA is the custodian of the South Africa national measurement standards, thus you will be working closely with experts on the realisation of the International System (SI) of units in Physical Metrology.
