UNESCO/ISEDC Co-Sponsored Fellowships Programme - 2020

The aim of this fellowships programme is to enhance the capacity-building and human resources development in the area of sustainable and renewable energy sources in developing countries and countries in transition. The training activities in the framework of these fellowships are tenable in specialized institutions in the Russian Federation. The medium of instruction will be English. UNESCO will solicit applications from the developing countries and countries in transition.

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Bursary 2020

PwC has an extensive bursary scheme. The bursary scheme aims to attract to the firm exceptional young people who are unusually talented. It is financial assistance given to students for further studies. Bursaries are awarded to students with a very good record of academic work at school and/or university; the amount of the bursary will depend on evidence that you cannot afford all the costs of the programme.

SAAWG National Fellowship Application Form 2020

All applications must be made on the SAAWG National Fellowship Awards Application Form 2020.

Application forms may be downloaded by clicking on the link provided below.

All applications and accompanying documentation must be submitted between 1 January 2020 and the deadline 25 March 2020.

An awardee will be required to sign acceptance that her name,university, degree or diploma and year, name of award and amount will be published in the SAAWG Annual Journal and on the SAAWG website.

South African Society For Crop Production: Application for SASCP Bursary

The South African Society of Crop Production annually awards bursaries to deserving undergraduate and postgraduate students (must be a South African citizen or South African permanent resident) who study full-time for a degree in the broad area of Crop Production (Agronomy / Crop Science) at a South African University.

Closing date is the 15th of March annually.

Honours Botanist - Call For 2020 Bursaries At SAAB

Scholarships awarded by the South African Association of Botanists for 2020

Each year the South African Association of Botanists awards “SAAB Scholarships”, to SADEC graduates with 70% or above grade average. In 2020, three awards of R10 000 for 1 year of tertiary study at Honours level (or 4th year level of study) in any botanically-related science will be granted to three registered students, on a competitive basis.

The New Zealand Aid Programme offers scholarships to potential applicants from eligible African countries

Types of scholarships available

There are two types of scholarships available:

1) New Zealand Scholarship for International Tertiary
Students, and

Oprah Winfrey Girls School: Bursary / Scholarship Programme 2021

Scholarship applications for 2021 open on 20 January 2020 and will close at midnight on 21 February 2020.

Only applications for grade 8 2020 will be accepted.

All other grades at the Academy have reached their capacity.

If you have not heard from the Academy by 14 March 2020 your application has not been successful.

Latest Bursaries

The Sage External Bursary is aimed at funding undergraduate students. Applicants must be studying at a public university in South Africa.

Interested in studying IT? The Institute of Information Technology Professionals South Africa (IITPSA) is inviting applicants to apply for a bursary. 

The bursary will provide financial support to full time students enabling them to complete their education and pursue a career which will help to grow the IT industry and the South African economy.

The Citrus Academy bursary is open to any person studying at a registered tertiary education institution. Students must be studying in a field related to citrus production or research.

The Western Cape Provincial Treasury launched this bursary programme in 2008. Through the programme, youth will have the opportunity to access tertiary education.
