The purpose of the Fund is to provide bursaries to students enrolled, or intending to enroll, at tertiary educational institutions for obtaining a qualification appropriate for formal employment in the South African wool industry
The South African Avocado Growers’ Association (SAAGA) makes bursaries available to individuals from historically disadvantaged groups for studies to towards a BSc (Agric) or equivalent degrees majoring in Horticultural Science or Agricultural Economics / Agribusiness.
Aim of bursary is to ensure that appropriately trained graduates of colour enter the South African avocado industry to enable continued growth of the sector.
WSP in Africa offers bursaries for engineering and environmental students at recognised universities in South Africa. Support is given to bursary candidates through vacation work and employment opportunities after studies where possible, giving them the opportunity to not only make their mark on the world, but to build a legacy.
