Motsepe Foundation Bursary

The Motsepe Foundation Bursary is open to students studying degrees in Sciences, Engineering / Entrepreneurship, Technology, Mathematics, Business Studies, Medical Studies, Law, Art and Agriculture.

Motsepe Foundation is offering 100 bursaries for the deserving students in the following disciplines:

Basil Read Bursary Scheme 2021

Basil Read provides bursary opportunities to individuals who are enthusiastic, passionate and have a talent for the built environment. Basil Read seeks for individuals who see the purpose and value of infrastructure to society and can help contribute to a sustainable future for all generations.

In order to qualify, individuals need to have a steady academic record and share the Basil Read values in their everyday life.

Bursary Opportunities are afforded to individuals in their second or later year of studies in the following fields:

Accenture Bursary Scheme 2021

Applications for Accenture's 2020 Scholarships are now open! The closing date is 15 August 2019, so act quickly.

Accenture, through its independent Education Trust, helps economically disadvantaged students with strong academic backgrounds to further their studies at tertiary institutions in South Africa.

If you are you a high achiever in your second, third, fourth or Honours year of study, we want to hear from you.

Nursing, Radiography and Medicine Bursaries from Western Cape Government

Bursaries will be awarded within the Health Science faculty, usually within the following fields of study (however the fields of study may alter annually depending on the Departments skill requirements):

  • Radiography
  • Emergency Medical Care
  • Nursing
  • Pharmacy
  • Medical (MBChB)

Winter Cereal Bursary Trust 2021

The WCT, decided in 2006 to introduce a Bursary Scheme to help students starting their careers in the field of small grains research.

The Bursary Scheme enables the WCT to play a role in increasing the Industry’s pool of appropriately qualified scientists in an equitable and transparent manner.

The WCT aims to award ten bursaries in a financial year (6 African, 2 Coloured, 1 Indian and 1 White) to post-graduate students to help finance their masters or doctoral studies in a small grains related field.

The Sage External Bursary is aimed at funding undergraduate students. Applicants must be studying at a public university in South Africa.

Interested in studying IT? The Institute of Information Technology Professionals South Africa (IITPSA) is inviting applicants to apply for a bursary. 

The bursary will provide financial support to full time students enabling them to complete their education and pursue a career which will help to grow the IT industry and the South African economy.

The Citrus Academy bursary is open to any person studying at a registered tertiary education institution. Students must be studying in a field related to citrus production or research.

The Western Cape Provincial Treasury launched this bursary programme in 2008. Through the programme, youth will have the opportunity to access tertiary education.
