REAP Online Bursary Application

REAP is a holistic Higher Education Support Programme. In an attempt to reduce poverty and empower young people to improve the quality of their lives, the Rural Education Access Programme (REAP) assists students from rural areas across South Africa to succeed at selected universities.

 Please note that this online application form does not cater for TVET institutions.

For successful applicants REAP provides a structured student development programme consisting of financial, psycho-social and skills development support.

Land and Agricultural Development Bank of South Africa (Land Bank) Bursary 2020

Land Bank is committed to creating opportunities for youth to participate in the agricultural sector.

One of the ways in which we do this is through the Land Bank Bursary Scheme.  

The programme is also focused on developing a pipeline of young talent not only to feed directly into Land Bank, but into the agricultural sector at large.

SACTWU's Bursary Trust Opportunity 2020

SACTWU manages South Africa 's biggest trade union bursary fund. The scheme offers members and their dependents financial support to study at universities, technikons and certain other higher education institutions. The fund was started in 1975 with a small solidarity contribution by trade union members to help support each other to meet the education expenditure of their children.
 

National Arts Council of South Africa (NAC) Bursary

Bursary applications for arts funding for 2020 from the National Arts Council of South Africa (NAC) are now open for post graduate students who are involved in arts studies, together with registered education and training institutions that provide tuition in the fields of theatre, dance, crafts, literature, music and visual arts.

The NAC has two types of local bursary funding:

Call for Applications for SATI Translator Bursaries

The South African Translators’ Institute (SATI) is a body that was established in 1956 with the aim of promoting the interests of the translation profession in South Africa.

In the context of contemporary South Africa with its 11 official languages, SATI is now also working towards the establishment of a culture of multilingualism and the development of a tradition of translation and interpreting in the South African languages.

Bryan Montgomery Bursary Fund (BMBF)

This bursary fund offers financial support of R35 000 towards the tuition fees of the current year of study at any SACA-approved culinary institution.

The Bryan Montgomery Bursary Fund does not award cash directly to the student; this money goes directly to the Training Provider to contribute towards the tuition fees.

Please note that funds are allocated to worthy candidates according to a formal application approval system.

Saldanha Municipality 2020: Bursary

Bursary applications are invited from first-year students for the 2020 academic year which will be extended to a maximum of three years provided that the candidate adheres to the bursary conditions.

The bursary is restricted to full-time study and attendance at an accredited University or a University of Technology and is eligible to individuals from historically disadvantaged societal groups or individuals with disabilities.

Parents/guardians of the student must reside within the Saldanha Bay Municipal Area.

Alfred Nzo District Municipality Bursary 2020

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified persons for external bursary programme for 2020. Academic year.

Alfred Nzo District Municipality bursary funds the following scarce and critical skills:
BSc : Community Water Services and Sanitation, BSc Water Resource Management or any other water and sanitation related qualification
Town and Regional Planning 
Geographic Information System
Maritime Studies

The closing date for applications is 10 January 2020.

Dube TradePort’s Bursary Scheme is offering once off bursaries to students who are residents of KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) and interested in pursuing a tertiary qualification. 

Bursaries will be awarded to students studying the following disciplines:

Master Builders KwaZulu-Natal will be awarding bursaries to KwaZulu-Natal-residing students, to pursue their studies within the Built Environment sector (National Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree/ Apprenticeship/ other related qualification as approved by the Bursary Committee).

Opportunities to study in Hungary are available through the 2021 Stipendium Hungaricum.

The Hungarian Government is offering 100 scholarships to South Africans to study at participating public universities in Hungarian. The scholarship consists of Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD scholarships.

All courses are taught in English.

The Municipal Council of Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality invites applications for financial Assistance from well-performing matriculates who wish to further their studies at institutions of high learning.
