Bursary Details

INSETA ISSF Bursaries are awarded according to academic merit, financial need/affordability of applicants. Courses covered by the bursary range from insurance, to finance, accounting, risk management, Economics, and many more.

Candidate Requirements

Must be between the ages of 18-35
Intend to study or who are already studying for a qualification at a tertiary Institution, which is registered and accredited with the Council for Higher Education (CHE). Priority will be granted to courses in the Insurance and related sectors.

How to Apply

Download the application form and complete it. Be sure to submit the following documents as well:

Recent certified copy of a valid South African identity document.
Recent certified copy of valid matric certificate (Grade 12).
A copy of acceptance letter from an accredited institution.
Certified copy of the latest academic transcript or record on official letterhead.
Tuition Fee/Course Quotation
Accommodation Fee/Quotation
Proof of Registration (where applicable)
Recent certified copy of breadwinner’s; parent’s; guardian’s valid South African identity document.
Death Certificate/Affidavit
Most recent (3) months Banks Statements/ Payslips (both parents/guardian) alternatively
SASSA letter/Affidavit of both parents/guardian if grant recipient.
POPIA Form
Learner Agreement
Letter of Employment (for employed)
