Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges offer a wide range of vocational programmes to students. Once a student graduates from a TVET college, they should have the skills and expertise to excel in a vocational careers.
There are 50 TVET colleges in South Africa, each offering a selection of vocational courses. If students are interested in enrolling in one of these courses, they will first have to register.

- Registration closed 17 January
False Bay TVET College:
- Registration is open until 20 January
Northlink TVET College:
- Registration is closed
South Cape TVET College:
- Registration is open
West Coast TVET College:
- Online registration is open
Buffalo City TVET College:
- Entry level NCV and Report 191: is closed.
- Returning levels NCV and Report 191 student have until 19 January to register
Eastcape Midlands TVET College:
- Registration is open
Ingwe TVET College:
- Registration is closed
Lovedale TVET College:
- Registration is closed
Port Elizabeth TVET College
- Registration for NCV L2 (all programmes) & PLP (Pre-Learning Programmes)
- Registration for N4 Semester Business Studies and Intro Business Studies is closed
- Registration is closed for all Returning students (all programmes)
- Regiation for N4 Semester Business Studies for 2022 Matriculants and Intro Business Studies is open until 19 January.
Elangeni TVET College:
- Online registration is closed
Majuba TVET College:
- Registration is available until 27 February
Mthashana TVET College:
- Registration is available until 25 January
Umgungundlovu TVET College:
- Registration for Part-time Engineering studies will close on 13 May
- Part-time Business Studies registration will close on 8 July
Goldfields TVET College:
- Registration is closed
Maluti TVET College:
- Registration is available until 17 February
Taletso TVET College:
- Online registration is open
Ekurhuleni East TVET College:
- Walk-in registration is open from 9 January
Tshwane North TVET College:
- Online registration for new students is closed
- Online and on-campus registration for returning and senior students will be open until 20 January
Nkangala TVET College
- Registration for new students is closed
- 16 - 20 January: Registration for returning students will be open until 20 January
Lephalale TVET College:
- Registration for both the Modimolle and Lephalale campuses is available until 27 January
Sekhukhune TVET College:
- Registration for new students took place on 10 January
Vhembe TVET College:
- Online registration is closed.
