Donations that are made from your community can go towards the following:
- Tuition fees
- Accommodation fees
- Book allowances
- Meal allowances
The money raised on Feenix is only allowed to be used for items listed on the university fee statement.
Feenix does allow for undergraduate and postgraduate students to fundraise for their studies!
Requirements for Feenix
The requirements to be approved for funding are as follows:
- Be a South African citizen/permanent resident/refugee or asylum seeker.
- Be a registered student at a public South African university.
- Have current or historical debt owing to your university.
- Have a combined household income of under R600k per year.
