In order to create a login, you will first need to register on the Funza Lushaka platform. Follow these steps in order to register:
Step 1: Visit the e-Gov portal at www.eservices.gov.za
Step 2: Select 'Sign up/Register'
Step 3: Provide your personal information by filling in the required fields. This includes: personal details, contact details, address details, password details and verification details.
Step 4: Once you have completed all of the registration steps, you will then have successfully created an account that you can use in future when logging in.
How to log in to your Funza Lushaka account
Step 1: Log in to the system using the username and password you created when registering
Step 3: A One Time Pin (OTP) will be sent to the number you used when registering
The Funza Lushaka bursary is only open to applicants who meet the following criteria:
- Learners who are currently in Grade 12;
- Graduates who want to complete a teaching qualification (enroll for a PGCE);
- People who want to make a career change and become teachers; and
- Unemployed people who want to become teachers.
In order to be considered for funding, applicants must have first gained admission at a recognized higher education institution for a teaching qualification that will be funded by Funza Lushaka.
