NSFAS assists thousands of students with their tertiary education through the provision of comprehensive funding. They are encouraging college students to take action and ensure they receive their NSFAS allowance payments.

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) offers comprehensive bursaries and student loans to deserving learners enrolled in approved courses at universities and TVET colleges. These bursaries include allowances to help cover living expenses.

To receive these allowances directly in their bank accounts, TVET College students need to submit their banking details.

Steps to Submit Your Bank Details

  1. Visit the NSFAS website
  2. Access the myNSFAS portal: Click on the "myNSFAS portal" section.
  3. Log in: Use your myNSFAS account username and password.
  4. Find your bank account details: Navigate to "Profile Information" and then select "bank account details."
  5. Enter your bank details: Fill in the information for your chosen bank account.

NSFAS will verify the submitted details with your bank. Once successful, they will notify you and begin disbursing your allowances.
