Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges offer a very wide range of programmes that help individuals to respond to the scarce skills currently needed by employers.
These skills include engineering, manufacturing, construction, agriculture, etc and are found in TVET Colleges.
Fortunately, these institutions do have an offering of funding options for students who are in need of such assistance.
The Northern Cape Rural TVET College have shared that in its admissions application form, there is a section for a bursary application as well and students are advised to fill this as well, should they seek funding for their studies.

The government bursary, National Student Financial Aid Scheme (Nsfas) does offer bursary to qualifying applicants too.
Students have the option of applying for the Nsfas bursary by creating an online profile on the bursaries website, or may alternatively ask for the TVET Colleges financial aid office for assistance once they have been accepted for admission to their chosen qualification.
According to False TVET College, since Nsfas is an independent organisation, students have been advised to forward their enquiries by liaising with a Campus Bursary Office or contact Nsfas directly.
