University of Venda students who successfully applied for funding through the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (Nsfas), are required to provide the university with a proof of funding to be able to register without paying a minimum fee.
Students will only be able to know the outcome of their funding application by the second week of the first semester. Here are the bursaries that students may apply for at the university:

Should a student's bursary application be unsuccessful, then they are required to pay their own registration fee.
According to the university, all fees ought to be paid by the dates stipulated in the University of Venda's fee booklet.
Failure to comply will result in the student’s examination results not being released, this includes the non-issuing of qualification and also the student being blocked to enroll for the next registration cycle.
The university has clarified that students will be held liable for the outstanding fees and outstanding debt will be handed over to the university's legal collections department.
Students with historical debt may also explore options such as crowdfunding from organisations such as Feenix, which connects students and communities to fundraise towards achieving debt-free education.
