The Central Application Clearing House (CACH) is now open for applications for the 2025 academic year. If you're planning to further your education at a South African university or college in 2025, now is the time to apply!
CACH will close on 31 March 2025. Apply as early as possible to increase your chances of securing a placement.
The (CACH) service for 2025 will be open from 8 am on 20 January 2025 until 31 March 2025.
What is CACH?
CACH simplifies the application process by connecting prospective students with a wide range of higher education institutions across South Africa. This platform provides valuable opportunities and increases your visibility to institutions, even if you missed initial application deadlines or are exploring alternative options.
Institutions and the sector education and training authorities (SETAs) use the CACH database for placement. Where places exist and prospective students meet the requirements, institutions will contact them directly once they have accepted the offer on the CACH system.
How to Sign Up
- Visit the Official CACH Website: Go to the official CACH website
- Locate the Sign-Up Section: Find the dedicated sign-up section on the homepage.
- Complete the Registration Form: Fill out the registration form accurately with all required personal and academic information.
No supporting documents are required as CACH directly receives your matric results from the Department of Basic Education.
Institutions will directly contact you regarding your application and potential placement opportunities.
