The MultiChoice group makes a large bursary scheme available for students year after year. For students who were pursuing the bursary for 2022, MultiChoice had R20 million available to fund as many as 200 students.
To be able to apply for the bursary, the applicant must be studying in a discipline that the bursary supports. The bursary scheme provides funding for students at any tertiary level of study who are pursuing a qualification in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines, such as the following:
- Actuarial Science
- Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering
- Computer Science
- Applied Mathematics
- Information Technology (IT)
- Data and Information Science
- Digital Media Technologies
Further eligibility requirements for applying for the bursary include the following:
- Applicant must be a South African citizen
- Applicant must be registered at a South African tertiary institution
- Applicant must meet all necessary requirements for application
How to submit an application
Once the candidate deems themselves eligible for application, they can navigate to the MultiChoice official bursary page by clicking here. Thereafter, they should navigate to the bottom of the page where a prompt to register and apply for the bursary can be found.
After clicking on the prompt, the applicant would have to register for the Student Village Application Portal, through which they will be able to find and submit their application.
