The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) applications for the 2022 academic year are currently open. This means that many students are submitting applications via their website.
With such a high influx of applications, technical errors are very common. These issues may include not being able to access the website or add their personal information on their application forms.
NSFAS has requested that students be patient when these issues arise and return to the site later.
Applicants may also try using a different device, refresh their page, clear their browser or use Google Chrome.
Students who would still like to apply may follow the steps below.
How To Apply
- Create a myNSFAS account.
- Once created, click “Apply”.
- Fill in the necessary information.
- Upload the required documents.
- Click “Submit”.
Once the application has been submitted, students may check their application status on their myNSFAS account, by clicking “Track Application Progress”.
The bursary covers tuition fees, registration costs, accommodation if needed, and allowances.
Those who are not able to apply on their own may visit their nearest application centre.
