For any prospective NSFAS student, being able to navigate the myNSFAS portal is of great importance, as it is through this portal that students will be able to keep up with their application progress. However, because you would be operating almost exclusively online, you would need to use an online password to login each time, and unfortunately, it might be easy to forget your password.
Luckily, the myNSFAS portal allows students to reset their passwords if they have forgotten them, by following these few steps:
- Go to the myNSFAS student portal.
- Click on Forgot your password? Click here tab.
- Enter your ID number.
- You will receive an OTP via email and SMS.
- Type in the OTP you received. Then click on SUBMIT.
- The last step is to create a new password.
Once you have followed these few easy steps, your password will be sent to your registered cell phone number and e-mail address.
