TVET college students in South Africa have a ticking clock: the deadline for National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) Trimester 3 funding applications is fast approaching on 20 September 2024.
NSFAS offers invaluable financial assistance to deserving students enrolled in approved courses at universities and TVET colleges. This includes comprehensive bursaries covering tuition, registration fees, and essential allowances for food, accommodation, and study materials.
Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity—apply now before it’s too late!
To ensure seamless alignment with TVET college academic calendars, NSFAS has timed the Trimester 3 application period to coincide with the start of the new academic cycle. Students are strongly encouraged to apply for the specific academic cycle they intend to enroll in.
Given the variance in academic calendars between TVET colleges and universities, NSFAS provides separate application periods for TVET students not pursuing year-long courses.
How to Apply
This NSFAS application period is exclusively for TVET college students. You can submit your application through multiple channels, including your TVET college bursary office, the NSFAS online portal, or a designated NSFAS center.
