So far, over one million applications have already been received, but this number is expected to grow as the deadline approaches. With just over 48 hours remaining, the Department of Basic Education (DBE) is urging all eligible candidates to submit their applications without delay.
Thousands of Opportunities Still Open
The BEEI has created more than one million jobs during its previous phases. Phase 5 alone offers over 200,000 positions, aimed at providing meaningful employment, skills development, and valuable work experience to young South Africans.
How To Apply for Teaching Assistant Jobs
Applications must be submitted through the official SAYouth.mobi platform, which has been confirmed by the DBE as the only legitimate application portal for Phase 5.
The DBE will be working with SAYouth.mobi to recruit young people. This will be the only source for recruitment.
The platform is zero-rated, meaning it can be accessed without using mobile data. Applicants are strongly advised to avoid unofficial platforms, as scammers have previously exploited fake listings to collect personal information.
Preparing Your Application
