Capitec Bank offers student loans to individuals wishing to further their education at several institutions, including Boston City Campus.
Benefits of the Capitec student loan include:
- Up to R500 000 credit for your needs
- Get revolving credit (access facility) linked to prime, a term loan with a fixed interest rate or both
- Up to 84 months to pay
These documents are requirements when applying:
- A valid SA ID (must be 18 years or older)
- Your latest 3 consecutive salary slips
- A bank statement showing your latest 3 consecutive salary deposits (only if the salary is not paid into your Capitec account)
- A standard invoice or quote from the service provider, not older than 30 days
It is important to note that in order to apply for credit at Capitec, the applicant (you or your parent/s, guardian or sponsor applying on your behalf) must be permanently employed.
Students can apply for a loan directly on the Boston City Campus website. To determine whether they qualify, the student will need to complete a four-step online form. Once they have qualified, a Capitec consultant will get in contact with the student. Keep in mind that this process could take up to 48 hours.
Once your credit is approved, Capitec will pay it directly to Boston City Campus for you.
