National Student Financial Aid Scheme
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) provides the NSFAS bursary and loan for students who are unable to pay their fees.
The NSFAS bursary includes coverage for tuition fees, registration as well as allowances for learning materials, accommodation and transport while the NSFAS loan covers fees, registration, accommodation and learning materials.
SETA Bursaries

FASSET Bursaries
FASSET's TVET college bursaries targets students that are studying business stream qualifications including IT related qualifications through public TVET colleges.
The bursary covers Tuition, prescribed textbooks, accommodation and learner allowances. The beneficiary might also qualify to be provided with laptop to assist with their studies.
MQA Bursary Scheme
The MQA Bursary Scheme funds various TVET College courses such as Boilermaker, Fitting (including Machinery), Motor Mechanic (Diesel), Instrumentation Mechanic, Electrician, Millwright, Fitter and Turner and others.
The bursary scheme covers full tuition and registration fees, residence fees or private accommodation allowance and books and meals.
RULA Bursary Programme
Rula Bulk Materials Handling offers bursaries for a diverse field of engineering disciplines as they are always on the look out for suitably qualified persons that will fit into their working culture. Rula offers both bursaries and in-service training for students busy studying towards an engineering or technical career.
After graduation, the student will be required to work one year for every year of studies paid for by Rula.
African Scholars' Fund
The African Scholars’ Fund supports students who are registered for Business and Engineering studies at TVET Colleges. This funding will cover tuition and registration fees.
Compensation Fund Bursary Scheme
The Compensation Fund offers bursaries to TVET College students. The bursary covers tuition fees, the prescribed study material, a monthly stipend and accommodation.
