Study grants are one of the many types of financial assistance that are provided to students through government departments, foundations, or various other companies and organizations.
These grants are not repayable and support the education of students at various levels. They are normally not affiliated with any university or college, but are offered solely through a third-party source.
A study grant usually covers all the aspects of student needs similar to a bursary or scholarship. These grants help to pay for the necessities associated with higher education such as tuition, accommodation, study materials and textbooks.
